Wine Tasting & Silent Auction

We’re raising funds to open the Saffron Strand Training Center in Albuquerque. The Center is going to help the city’s homeless and poorest residents gain skills needed in the local economy so they can get back to work in jobs that build careers.
PROGRAM FOR THE EVENING
5:30 p.m. Silent Auction opens
5:30-6:00 p.m. Live music by Le Chat Lunatique with wine, food, and mingling
6:00-6:10 p.m. Welcome by host (TBA)
6:10-6:20 p.m. Remarks by Debbie O’Malley, Bernalillo County Commissioner
6:20-6:30 p.m. Remarks by Ilse Biel, Activist and Advocate for the Homeless
6:30-6:40 p.m. Remarks by Rev. Amani Malaika, Albuquerque Center for Spiritual Living
6:40-6:45 p.m. Performance of Carrie Newcomer’s “Sanctuary” sung by Rev. Amani Malaika
6:45-8:15 p.m. Wine, food, and mingling with live music by Le Chat Lunatique
8:15 p.m. Silent Auction closes
8:30 p.m. Thank you and good night!
